1960 Turner vintage
race car nr 60-287 - $3500
- Yellow. BMC 1250
engine w/ weber carb. SCCA log book. Last raced Feb 2014. Unfortunately
stored under a tarp under a lean-to until a few years ago. Needs a total
going through. Engine doesn’t turn over. A good basis for going vintage
racing, but needs everything – engine rebuild, brakes, tires, carb
rebuild, lots of cleaning and polishing, but all there. Nice mag wheels
that need cleaning/polishing. Could be a street car with a lot of
work. Came in a three car deal from a friend who had to stop vintage
racing. I have too many cars. Contact Hank Giffin at 757-375-1491 or
hankgiffin@cox.net
1961 MGA - $5,000

1970 MGB - $13,000
- This car is in excellent condition. I have owned it for 12 or so years
and driven it about 3000 miles in that time. It has been professionally
painted and extensively renovated with many, many parts replaced. It
starts and runs perfectly. It leaks little to no oil, front or back,
never smokes, and needs no topping up between regular oil changes. Oil
pressure at speed is 55-60 lbs. I have never driven it on wet pavement.
Both rocker panels have been replaced, as well as the front and rear
quarter panels on both sides. The car is now essentially rust free. The
chrome bumpers are original and in good condition. A full listing of all
its new parts is available upon request. The car is garaged at 1400 Blue
Jay Lane, very close to Regency Mall in Richmond, VA. Thom
Blair (804-334-1626)

1979 MG Midget -
MAKE OFFER - It
was bought from the original owner in 1995 and has been kept in a garage
or storage unit its entire life. It was my first car and the car I
learned to drive in, and I’d really like it to go to someone who will
get it running again and enjoy it. It hasn’t been started in 5 years
because the front driver’s side brake line snapped when I was trying to
fix a leak and then work picked up and kids came along and I just
haven’t had any time to work on it. It drove fine the last time I had it
out, so as far as I know getting it back on the road really only needs
the brake line replaced and maybe a tun-eup and tires since it’s been
sitting so long. As far as restoration, the paint and interior are
original so they’re ok but wouldn’t win any awards. I really hate having
to sell it, but I don’t have the time to fix it (or properly enjoy it if
I did) and I hate seeing it sit idle in my garage anymore. If you are
looking for a Sunday driver that just needs a little work, please
contact me. Norman McIntosh, (757) 615-4317 (C), (757) 396-4638 (O).
1980 MGB Roadster - $5000 – Rebuilt head, good exhaust, new seats and interior, dash pad restored, extra dash with gauges, trunk redone and carpeted, new electric fuel pump, extra top frame, extra driver door, speakers wired into front doors, stereo, extra trunk lid (with rack), extra wire wheels and good set of 4 matching wire wheels with tires. Car needs to be completed and painted. Call Don for more info. (757) 737-2468.
